About paz

Moving people forward

We strive to provide extra value in every customer interaction to remain the cornerstone destination of the Abbotsford community.
our mission

Reset your day at PAZ

Ever since my family got into this business in 1969, we’ve had an independent spirit and wanted to do things differently. After 50 years in the business, we haven’t seen a lot of change in how gas stations work. So we took the opportunity to make getting gas a much better experience.

My promise to you is that every interaction with the PAZ service station is going to be memorable. I’ve personally thought through every detail of the gas station experience and tried to make it as fun as possible.

We have plenty of space for any vehicle, from small electric two-seaters to regular SUVs to large commercial trucks. All our pumps are high-speed and those reserved for truckers can dispense DEF directly. Our sustainable car wash takes just three minutes to make your car shine and uses filtered recycled rain water, so you’d never feel bad sporting a showroom-like vehicle.

We also sell fresh food made to order by our chef—all natural, and delicious. If you're in a rush, come inside to grab a freshly made sandwich or a coffee. Have a few minutes? Stay for a latté or even enjoy a made-to-order pizza.

In recent years, our team (now at over 40 people) has unanimously decided to take extra steps to reduce our environmental footprint without changing the ways our customers use our station. Besides recycling water, today we use a lot less plastic packaging, try to source the food for our market locally when possible.

Come reset your day at PAZ,
Mike Paz

Our History
1969

The Paz family completely renovates the station and opens a convenience store.

1994

Norma and Moshe bought another station at the current location and run it under a contract with an oil company for five years. Mike Paz joins his parents’ business and rises through the ranks.

1999

The oil company contract expired and the Paz family decided to continue on their own.

2019

PAZ undergoes a rebranding process to cement its status as a destination service station for the Abbotsford community.
